The competition
The sports competition runs during a set period. Participating firms compete for the most points, earned by logging sports activities in the app.
Earning points
Every activity earns points, depending on the type of sport and its duration. The number of points per minute differs per sport and is set in advance by The Finance Generation — you'll see this when logging an activity.
Uploading proof
For every activity, you upload a photo as proof. An activity can't be submitted without a photo. We spot-check submitted activities against the uploaded photos.
Sporting together: bonus points
Sporting together with colleagues from your own firm? Select them directly when logging the activity — no linking needed. A group of 2–4 (you plus 1–3 colleagues) earns a 20% point bonus for everyone; a group of 5 or more earns a 50% bonus. Sporting alone earns no bonus.
Extra bonus points for firms
In addition to the group activity bonus, The Finance Generation may award extra weekly bonus points to a firm — for example for the best LinkedIn post featuring #TFGsportchallenge, or the best organized group activity. These bonus points are awarded at The Finance Generation's discretion and apply to the firm as a whole.
Leaderboard
Points count both individually and toward your firm's total. Both overviews can be found on the dashboard.
Fair play
We trust everyone to log activities truthfully. Activities that don't match the uploaded proof may be removed. If in doubt, we'll contact the participant in question.
